I remember the general timeline because the rockies went to the world series and the event took place while my father was watching the game. when i mentioned the sighting to him he said it was a plane. his (at the time) girlfriend's daughter saw this with me. honestly i'm curious if anyone else did. this object was stationary for minutes. it was on the cusp of dusk, but the sun had already fallen behind the mountains. it was hard to define the shape of the object i say cigar because of the way the lights were positioned. it had one large orb in the center and 1 smaller orb to each side. they were bright orbs considering the distance. i felt like i was truly seeing something... else. i would've believed it to be a plane... until it vanished. the way it vanished was like a reptile eyelid closing. then, when it disappeared 3 blackhawk helicopters at an elevation of about 1500' above me and in formation came from the east headed west. this is an old one to report and unfortunately we did not get video or photo evidence. we were so in awe that we did not think to. it was strange the helicopters came from the east too. buckley afb is south. there must be an other installment to the east of castle rock and parker.
