UFO Sighting in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Lab on 1983-09-01 20:00:00 – Observed something which appeared to be a plane on fire travelling at a high speed towards the airport.

Myself and 5 other friends witnessed what we thought at the time was an aircraft on fire and about to crash near the airport. we were frightened and called air traffic control and the police to report it. we were informed there was no report of a plane crash in the area.
