I was letting my dogs out last year around 5 am sometime last july, it was before the sun was up. i let them out the back and i have a field behind my house with a tree line on the right side of me and woods really all around the field. we are out in the country, it was very dark. i had just woken up so i didn't turn the light on. i went out on the back deck to call for the dogs and that's when i saw a bright red light floating at the back of the field. it was hovering just below the tree line and seemed to be coming towards the house. i watched it for a few mins and then it banked right, into the woods and i lost the light after that. also i remember it didn't make a sound when it went thru the trees,and the vegetation was overgrown. i was waiting for a crash but nothing. i was not quite sure what i had seen. i honestly thought someone was flying a drone or something in our yard. my husband was gone, so i told my dad about it that afternoon. he then informed me that it couldn't have been a drone, nothing could fly in the wind we had been having. we had been having storms the past two days, 30-50 mph wind gusts. it had been very warm and windy that morning... he then said " hunny i think you might have seen a ufo." i laughed and didn't really think about it until i was watching the history channel and i saw a hanger 1 episode on native american ufo encounters and they talked about a red, glowing orb. what they described its exactly what i saw that night. and the other thing that is weird is i have seen them twice now ( only for a few mins then they go into the woods) and we live near an old sacred native american site and burial ground.
