One night around september 2019 i saw 2 orange lights in the sw sky a bit north of camp williams. i have seen flares dropped at camp williams in the past, but these were different, much brighter, much bigger and completely still. they did not fall to the ground. they were also much bigger than the lights from incoming planes that i commonly see north of that area from the same vantage point. they looked like bonfires that were frozen in time. the would 'extinguish' for 5-10 seconds and then return in the same spot. i saw them from my front porch and continued to see them as i drove south to a grocery store. i saw another car stop in the middle of the road for 30 seconds seemingly to also observe the lights. i called my mom during the drive and asked her to go out and look. i also alerted another shopper entering the store but the shopper was disinterested. when i exited the store the lights were gone. when i returned home my mom and next door neighbor we outside talking about what they had seen. my neighbor had been alerted to the lights by a friend of his who had left his house and texted him that there was 'fire in the sky'. my mom said she had seen one of the lights quickly shoot off and disappear although i did not ever see them move at all.
