I was walking out of my shop headed down to my house on a walk path after finishing some car repairs. i look at the sky any night i walk in jist to see if something odd sticks out. i glanced to my right and saw what i thought was a star between the v of some trees on my property. after a few more steps i thought to myself, you know that seemed awfully bright for a star and flashed more than flickered so i backed up and watched it for a minite. it was sitting right between 2 trees that made a v that was very easily distinguished from the night skyline. maybe a minute went by and i was about to turn and walk away until it moved quickly to the left and then made a 90 degree upward turn that appeared to have no radius to it and then went up sort of all over the place at one point almost disappeared behind the left tree line before moving straight back across the same flat line to around where i first saw it and then sat there. i got a picture but couldn't get my phone video to pick it up which surprised me because of how bright it was and flashing multiple colors. it was well off in the night sky i would guess as the crow flies around 80 miles or so. the speed and movements were unlike anything i know of that flies and is man made. i live directly in the takeoff and landing zone of our airport, planes pass over daily and nightly. they weren't plane lights. curious if anyone else saw this or not?
