UFO Sighting in Redondo Beach, California on 1942-06-30 12:00:00 – Bottom was round, flat, concentric groves, gold colored, & reflected light

Object was observed in 1942 when i was 4 years old. my father was talking to a neighbor while i stood nearby looking up to their faces. i noticed the object flying directly overhead. i attempted to get my father to look at it, but he ignored me. i pulled on his pant leg, but he continued to ignore me. the object was metallic, gold colored, with concentric rings & appeared to be slowly spinning as it flew southerly at about 2,500 foot elevation. it then gradually turned toward the west and flew out over the ocean until it went out of sight. i could only see the bottom of the object.
