UFO Sighting in Ladysmith, Virginia on 2017-11-16 19:30:00 – Object was stationary then would get extremely bright and glowing, moved slowly short distance and brightened again, did this at least 4 times only moving very short distance

I was outside smoking and looking at the sky as i often do, hoping to maybe see a sattelite or possible meteor. this was approx.7:30 pm.I noticed a bright white light in sky that seemed to slowly intensify in brightness and size then dim and then it moved slowly and short distance, then it would get extremely bright again.I observed this pattern for approx. 3 mins.I have seen many sattelites but this was unlike anything i have witnessed before. lost sight of it behind a tree blocking sky.Also when i first noticed object i t appeared to be heading in northern direction then seemed to almost stop, get extremely bright and then it looked like it changed direction and slowly was going in east se direction
