UFO Sighting in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on 1975-06-16 20:45:00 – Initially craft hovered, then traveled due east, turned north, then traveled west out of sight

10 minutes before sunset my friends pointed out ufo hovering silently at 35-40 degree angle for about 5 minutes above intersection of schaumburg rd, and barrington rd. it then traveled east along schaumburg rd to meacham rd where it traveled north to algonquin road where we lost it behind trees. we were discussing upcoming trip when sighted. it was clear to the 3 of us, and two friends a mile away what it was. we were amazed, not scared, but i forgot the loaded camera in glovebox until it was gone. we talked about for 1/2 hour after. my girlfriend mentioned to coworker/friend, discovered he and his girlfriend witnessed also. his description was identical, as was timing/pathway. my belief in off planet life was confirmed totally.
