I was sitting at my backyard table which faces east. in this position i have a pretty unimpeded view of the sky. i was watching a youtube video on my phone when i noticed an orange light in the sky at the top of my vision directly in front of me. i glanced up at it and waited to see the telltale flashing lights of an aircraft, but there were none. it was a solid orange light, star size and shape, but close, if that makes sense. the only detail i could make out was that it was flickering quite fast (the orange light). i wondered if it was a chinese type lantern as that would explain the flickering, but it was moving way, way too fast. i observed it for approximately one minute as it travelled east to west, until it blinked out and disappeared. it approached from a distance, went passed my house and continued west until it blinked out. 60 seconds total. too fast for a lantern, i assume. anyway, second orange light like that i have seen in this area, sightings 16-17 years apart roughly.
