I was in my backyard at approximately 10:30 p.m. (Mountain Time Zone) in early July 2016 looking at the night sky as I do every night. Appearing in western sky was a white orb traveling in a straight line from west to east. It was at approximately 5,000 feet traveling between 100-200 mph and did not make any noise. The object was no further than 1-2 miles from my location. There were no other aircraft in the immediate area. The white orb was not pulsating and was no larger than a small civilian aircraft. There were no collision avoidance lights (red or green) emanating from the object. This occurred twice within a one week period at about the same time each night. The object disappeared from sight both times beyond a small mountain as it made a straight path eastbound. It was very similar to MUFON Case Number 66546 (June 17, 2015.) I found the MUFON case as I did an internet search of "white orbs over Saint George, Utah." Although my observation did not entail neither a helicopter in the area nor a "morphing" of size and shape of the white orb. We are within a few hundred miles of Nellis Air Force Base, Hill Air Force Base, and Dugway Proving Grounds. So, probably military related.
