From my yard in southwest Las Vegas I looked up and thought Jupiter looked considerably brighter and larger than usual. Noticed the object was moving. This was nothing but a solid white light travelling slightly slower than the speed of a normal plane that you'd see at 30,000 feet (though much lower - estimate 5-10,000, possibly lower). Waited for blinking to see if it was an airplane but it wasn't. I went in the house and grabbed my binoculars and watched for four or five minutes (almost directly overhead when first watched through binoculars). This was a perfectly round bright, white light only, with no other lights and no discernible body. As it passed over the city toward the northeast it looked a little more orange and as it got smaller I saw squiggling (like a kid playing with a flashlight). I suppose this could have been "binocular error" although I peripherally had a star in the same field of vision and it wasn't squiggling. I felt amazed and curious and came right in to report this. A LOT of people had to see this (unless they were all texting). The object disappeared from view eventually, not sure if this was literally or it became too small to see.
