In May 2014 I was at work as a health care assistant in Stanhope, I had just got a patient up out of bed and taken him outside for a cigarette. The weather was warm with a near clear sky apart from a few small whispy clouds. I commented to the patient on how nice it was and looking up to the sky I noticed two copper coloured spheres with no appendages at all and no form of propulsion, at first I thought they were grouse or ducks but there was no sign of wings, the sun was glinting off the top left hand quarter of both spheres, which made me think they were balloons or Chinese lanterns but they were moving against the wind and cloud direction they also kept a constant distance apart from each other during the fifteen seconds duration. The spheres maintained a constant slow straight speed neither ascending or descending nor making any noise at all. I told the patient what I was seeing as he could not see due to a building in the way and being wheelchair bound ,I also mentioned that I thought they were strange and nothing like I had seen before. Both the spheres entered a small transparent whispy cloud where they either disappeared or faded away as they did not exit the cloud which should of only took three to five seconds to do this due to the small size of the cloud. I mentioned this to my patient straight away,I stopped outside another three to five minutes but the spheres did not reappear.
