It was around mid May-ish, 2004. i walked out the back door to have a smoke. it was about 12:20am. sky was dark (little to no mooon at all). I always look up at the sky at night and this night was no different. clear skies...great for cosmic viewing! as i was looking up, i noticed something out of the corner of my right eye. it seemed like the stars were vanishing. i turned and looked in that direction (n/nnw) and i could CLEARLY see a very large triangular (delta) shaped "craft" of some sorts, moving across the sky in a s/sse direction, directly overhead. this craft had no lights and emmited no sound either, BUT, i could hear it moving through the air above me. this craft was very large....300' - 500' approximate guestimation. as far as i could tell, it had to have been between 500' - 1000' above ground, but as it was the middle of the night, it was hard to judge that accurately. but it was close enough that i heard it "move" through the air overhead. it was moving at a good clip too. i froze in disbelief and just followed it as it moved silently across the sky, covering up and then uncovering stars as it moved. hairs stood up on my body. came to the crashing conclusion that i had witnessed an unidentified flying object sail over my head. i kept it quiet for almost two years until a friend of mine told me his story of seeing the exact same craft i had seen. everything was identical. it has taken me 10 years since i spoke to that friend about it, to work up the courage to report this to your group. i'm most definately not crazy, lol....and have always been of sound mind and body. i know what i saw, and there's nothing that could explain what i saw. anyways, that's about all i can tell you. haven't experienced anything similar since...but i'm always watching! cheers!
