UFO Sighting in Port Jervis, New York on April 6th 2016 – Bright light hovering just above the mountain observed for 2 min to 5 min then disappeared like it blinked out

Driving home from Port Jervis we were on Rt 209 North at 7:30-8:00pm. A bright light was on my left. My son said it looked like a plane with headlights. From where I was it was 1/2 inch above the mountain ridge. While watching it, it just popped out of sight. I searched the sky looking in all directions but there was no sight of it anywhere. The night was clear! I got very excited and couldn't stop thinking about it all night!
