On April 5, 2016, at 5:55 EST I was viewing the ISS HD camera on my phone. I noticed something I'd never seen before - a strange squiggle line on the left and what appeared to be a cloud of some sort on the right. My first thought was that there was something wrong with the camera or lens.
Then I saw a light appear in the distance. It appeared to grow brighter and brighter before dimming again and disappearing altogether. I'm unsure whether it was a satellite, but that seemed odd since it disappeared. The sun also appeared to be shining from behind the ISS, so if it were a reflection the image would have remained, but it dimmed and faded.
As the light dimmed so did the squiggly line and cloud, though you can still see them faintly.
I began taking screen shots when I first noticed the images and continued until they were gone. The last image is NASA's standard screen saying the cameras are transitioning or the signal has been lost. Some conspiracists believe NASA displays this messaging to hide anomalous objects or UFOs.
