I was watching tv and when the show was over, I decided to take my dogs outside to go to potty. I look up at the stars on a clear night (no moon I believe) about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I notice Saturn and think about taking my telescope out to see it in detail. I turn my patio light off so I can see the stars better and I look back up. I first thought I saw a shooting star but upon closer inspection I realized it was four dim whitish yellow lights in a "V" shaped formation, moving very quickly from the east. There was absolutely no audible sound. Once I realized that is was a ufo it was about 90 degrees from the horizon, or right above me somewhat towards the south. I could distinctly tell the lights were not fixed. I could see the spaces between the lights growing and shrinking as they sped across the sky. Overall the group moved in a straight line, east to west. From the center of the sky to fading away above the horizon in the west in 4-5 seconds. Far faster than any satellite that I have ever seen. The whole encounter was around 7-8 seconds. The group of lights was about the diameter of a quarter held at arms length. I was absolutely awestruck. After the encounter I immediately texted my mom and sister explaining what I just witnessed. I kept getting waves of goosebumps because I was so amazed. Truly the craziest thing I have ever seen in my 19 years of life.
