1 Myself, my mother and my boyfriend were sitting enjoying the sunshine and having a cold drink at our garden table in our back garden of our house.
2 My boyfriend first noticed it, It was a clear blue sky and the airplane (a commercial)was easy to see - & was on a regular flight path & easily in line of sight.
3 I knew it was unusual/illogical (not normal) straight away: (but I never like to jump to conclusions)
4 What I/we saw was a commercial aircraft (I think I could make out it was white and had red on its tail fin), it made a white vapour trail-(as normal). We saw a v bright white object dipping above, below and behind the vapour trail,- very close to the tail of the plane. It was keeping pace with, and very close to the rear of the plane. When this object moved - it 'zipped-about'- 'playfully'&(changed direction unnaturally quickly).
(for info it was larger than star size)
5 Astonishment & excitement. Also I was glad that we all saw it, and were able to discuss and confirm what we saw with each other-as we were witnessing it.
6 Personally, I ran into the house to get my binoculars - but by the time I focussed in on the plane it was flying out of my/our line of sight (became obscured by our neighbours roof top), but my boyfriend and my mother continuously watched it until it flew out of sight.
