UFO Sighting in Brossard, Quebec on June 30th 1972 – Very fast traveling in the sky

Me and a friend where lying our back on a picnic table. Night was starting and sky was dark, no cloud. We where near the Venise Lake border of Champlain lake, looking at the sky. And suddenly, from end of horizon, this star like, came in straight line in our direction (sky), then stopped (no diminution of speed at all). And then fly at 90 degrees? the time it took from far horizon to on top of us was not more then 1 second. It was around 1972 because it is so long ago, I cant be 100% sure but was around that date. We new that at this time that it could not be anything traveling that fast, stop right there and turn 90 degrees, that it could be earth technology, at least that is was we were thinking my friend and me. At night, I always have a live feed camera in my patio windows.
