UFO Sighting in Herndon, Virginia on March 16th 2016 – Variable intensity blinking moving star..very bright pulse then light ..not sure about pattern.second dim almost like a short dim shooting star that looked like dot line dot dissapear

Was sitting on the deck on a rocking chair looking at the moon and stars. It was around 2am. I observed a bright flash in the sky as if a bright star appeared above them middle and above the pot portion of the big dipper. It hovered early blinking with different intensities. At some point it stared moving and continuing to blink at variable intensities. In the distance there was a second UFO object that looked like a shooting star that traveled a short distance.. Or like a dot line dot that disappeared. Almost like a craft hyperspaceing out..I assume the different intensities of blinking light communicated to something on the ground.This UFO looked like a moving star. I lost sight cause I called a friend to observe it as well so I would believed..when I was sure he saw it it started to text and call others but at 2:13 am it's hard to get someone on the phone..my friend saw it move and blink severrale more times before loosing it. The object first appeared stationary blinking different intensities been before moving and doing the same...I was to amazed to notice if the blinking had a definitive pattern. Emotionally I was happy cause it's validation on how I believe and my friend witeniseed it with me on the phone.
