I was a passenger in my father's vehicle while driving south on the I-5 freeway, going from Medford to Talent. While on the freeway, I noticed a craft slowing coming over the mountains to the south. I pointed it out to my dad who said it was just a plane. I said, that's no plane.
When we came to the Talent exit, the craft was over the Walmart in Talent. I told my dad to pull in the parking lot so I could take a picture. It took him forever and the craft was going away. He was slowly cruising the parking lot and I told him "Stop! Just stop here!". I jumped out and took four photos before it was gone.
The craft was triangle shaped with three big white/yellow lights near each corner, with a small red light on the bottom center. The craft seemed like it "knew" I was taking pictures and seemed to speed up it's acceleration. It was flying along the west side of the 5 freeway, headed northbound from the south. By the time I took the photos, the red light was gone and the white-yellowish lights appear yellow-orange in the photos.
My father also witnessed it when he got out of the vehicle. He now has no, or very little, of the event.
