UFO Sighting in Prince George, Virginia on February 29th 2016 – UFO with domed top and recessed tear drop bottom

Coming back from lunch I caught a movement out of the corner of my eye just above tree level. I saw a vehicle in the air. It had a saucer top, a recessed cone bottom (which was towards the ground) and a light that appeared silver in the junction between top and bottom. I initially thought it was a kite. I observed it hover for a few moments, then rapidly go straight up. There was a cloud behind it. I watched it go up infront of the cloud, then above it until it disappeared far up in the sky. The ascent was faster than any aircraft I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of aircraft having worked as enlisted aircrew in the military.
