UFO Sighting in Louisville, Kentucky on June 30th 1966 – Two lights resembling stars ran paralle high in the sky then both took a 90 degree angle in opposite directions till out of sight.

I was a teenager camping out in the backyard with two other friends. We were all laying on our backs while star gazing around 3AM. We watched the sky for over an hour when I spotted two stars running parallel across the sky heading SW. After pointing them out to my friends I became frightened thinking the stars were falling as in Biblical prophesy and exclaimed "Its the end of the world!". As we continued to watch the two stars they quickly split in opposite 90 degree directions and continued across the sky until out of sight. They appeared to be very high in the sky as I said, I thought they were stars. They also appeared to be moving really fast. After we lost sight of them we were excited knowing they must have been UFO's because nothing on Earth could move that way. We continued to watch the skies till dawn hoping to spot some more but no luck. No one believed us of course.
