1) My girlfriend and I were driving on highway 167 passing through Auburn/Kent area. 2) We were looking at the very dark rain clouds in the sky hoping it wouldn't rain on our camping trip to Deception Pass state park. 3)We knew it wasn't an airplane because it didn't have any wings or lights. We are very sure it was a disk. Like a thick pancake shape. 4) The object was stationary (hovering) and then faded away. 5) We were floored by what we just saw and discussed it between ourselves to make sure our eyes weren't playing tricks on us. We ended up getting off at the next exit and sat in a parking lot with a camera in hand to snap a picture but it was already gone. 6) The object just faded away, but we are not sure if it dissolved or slipped into the cloud. My Girlfriend and I saw a pancake shaped object hovering in front of a dark cloud formation over the northeastern sky. It happened at 11:44 am as we were passing through Auburn/ Kent on highway 167. The entire event lasted no more than 2 minutes. It was a dull silvery color and appeared to be about the same length as a commercial airplane or maybe shorter. We are positive that it was not an airplane because it had no wings and we saw 2 airplanes flying by at the same time while we were staring at the object.
