I was taking a pic of the sky and cloud formation just before sunset. I was facing Long Island Sound- Thogs Neck Bridge to the left of the pic and Fort Totten park to the right. After taking the pic, I noticed the sphere towards the center of the pic. At first, when I looked at the pic I thought it was the moon, but when my friend and I looked back at the sky we didn't see anything. We searched the sky and thought it may have gone behind a cloud. Later that night I saw the moon in the southern part of the sky and it was crescent not full. I thought this might be a lens flare, but it looked pretty solid on the pic and I have never had issues with a lens flare before, so I'm not sure and would really just like an explanation.
