Black Triangle Sighting in Midland, Texas on October 7th 2014 – very slow, silent, corners glowed like a turned off floresent bulb, made two quick pulses forward and turned directly north.
Early in the morning on October 7, 2014, 7:15 a.m. I walked out into our fabrication yard in Midland, Texas. It was still dark, with sunrise about 25 minutes away, with a low cloud cover that morning.
As I exited the building through one of the large bay doors facing due west when I had a strange feeling that said "look up". When I did what I saw was a dark, not specifically black, but a dark triangle object moving just under the clouds, just in the lower edge of the clouds, or the object was slightly transparent and the clouds could be seen through it. The objects corners were illuminated with a light that was a dim florescent, like what you see when you turn off a florescent bulb in a pitch black room. It moved very slowly, steady and silently, and it made no sound and left no trail. Oddly enough there was little sound from anything that morning at all. There we not flashing lights, no strobes, no projected light, no colored lights of any kind, just a faint luminescent glow.
(After the incident I mentally noted that there was little or no traffic noise and we are in an industrial side of town with lots of 7a.m. traffic)
The object was observed for 35 seconds as it moved in a NW direction. During the time I observed it, the object made two very quick pulses forward. Both of them occurred near the end of the 35 seconds observed. After the second pulse it held steady for a couple of second and then it turned directly north and when out of view behind our building. I ran to the other side but did not see the object again.
