1) My Girlfriend and I were camping in Mount Rainier National park eating a late dinner and observing the night sky. 2) We noticed an object moving across the sky near a group of stars. 3) We knew it wasn't an air plane because it was to high up and there was no colored flashing tail lights. We knew it wasn't a satellite because this object had a wobble and shifted directions from southeast to northeast while stopping in its flight path hovering. We also know it wasn't a comet/meteor because it did not have any tail nor was it shaped like a teardrop. 4) The object basically moved from north to south at a steady speed and then traveled back in the opposite direction but stopping in its flight path before taking off again diagonally across the sky. 5) I got the impression that it was observing us or knew we were watching it from a distance, so I began to signal it by using a red flashlight pointed towards the object turning it on and off repeatedly. After about 5 minutes or so it took off quickly. The hairs on the back of my neck were standing up and I was excited by the possibility that it was a UFO. My girlfriend was nervous and a little scared. 6) We lost sight of the object when it took off at a high rate of speed behind the very tall trees that surrounded us.
