last night while watching the meteor shower at about 1:10 a.m. I saw 2 brite white objects. If they had not been moving they would've been mistaken for stars. They were identical in every way, exact same size and brightness. put my arm out and with my thumb and index finger measured the distance between at 1 1/2 inches. They were very, very high maybe beyond earth's atmosphere so the true distance between them had to be huge and also their size. they were moving in perfect unison with each other, one was a few degrees lower than the other so they were at an angle. the speed was slow moving and coming downward but they stayed perfectly in line with each other and maintained the exact same distance from each other. it seemed as though they were connected, like they were just lights at opposite ends of a perfectly straight object. I watched them with my binoculars and I couldn't see anything connecting them but it was extremely dark last night so they could have been. they looked just like stars but they didn't flicker or sparkle and when I got my binoculars to look at them I saw that they both had a dark edge around them, like a black ring, they were encased in something. that to was identical to each other. they were moving from northwest toward northeast slowly at a downward angle, they came from very high were getting lower. they went behind a tree so I went down the street a ways and caught them again and watched until they disappeared behind the mountains in San Jancinto. some one else watching the meteor shower must have seen them.
