UFO Sighting in Beach Haven, New Jersey on July 23rd 2015 – Sitting on back porch of vacation home with family members. Noticed multiple lights in the clear sky disappearing and reappearing randomly.

Myself and four other family members were sitting on the back porch of our vacation home on LBI, New Jersey. We had been sitting out there since approximately 8:00pm. The sky was clear and we could see many stars and planes in the night sky. We could also see several ships on the horizon giving clear indication of where the horizon line was. Around 10:45pm I noticed two reddish lights well above the horizon line hover for a few seconds and then just disappear. I called for my family members to look at what I was seeing. Then we all saw more lights appear at different spots in the sky. Some of the lights appeared to start as one and then multiply into three or four lights in a straight line. All of the lights just disappeared. I'm well aware of the patterns of airplanes, helicopters, satellites, and ships. These lights were very different and there was no clear flight path and they were well above the horizon line and ocean. The lights appeared sporadically until about 11:05pm. I first noticed the object when I was looking out at the ocean and saw two reddish lights appear and then vanish without a clear flight pattern. Initially, I thought it could be flares in the distance, but flares typically descend to the earth after being fired. These lights didn't do that. My feelings were somewhat of disbelief in what we were seeing. I've not seen anything like that before. It was quite surreal. We lost sight of the lights around 11:05pm when they stopped appearing.
