UFO Sighting in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 10th 2001 – Glowing orange light with varied flight path, hovering and speed.

A friend and I were driving to the store when I noticed an orange light on the horizon. At first I thought it was small and nearby but noticed it move behind a cloud that was quite a ways off. I couldn't guess at the actual size of it but it would have been fairly large considering the distance. The color and intensity of the light didn't change but as it was mid-day and easily visible at distance it must have been very bright. There was no sound that I could hear but that may have been due to the distance. I didn't know what to make of it at first but when it began making abrupt path changes I pointed it out to my friend. He saw it as well. We watched as it sped across the sky, behind buildings and clouds. It changed directions multiple times then came to a hover. It hovered briefly then shot across the horizon and out of sight faster than I would think possible of normal aircraft. I have no idea what it was and still think about it quite often to this day.
