UFO Sighting in Brenham, Texas on August 1st 1980 – It moved very slowly over us. About 30 people there. no one said a word. just amazed.

Yes, there was about 30 of us at Lake Summerville in Brenham Tx. We were night fishing for crappie. Beside us was four drunk men. They were starting to annoy everyone when they got quite as a mouse. Everyone was wondering what the were looking at, when we all saw it. It looked like it was low enough to touch it. But it was above the tree lines. It was shaped like a submarine. And gray/black in color. It moved very, vary slow.from one horizon to the other. It seemed to take forever, but was only about 10minutes. The tail end had iridescent trail behind it. (Red, blue, green). Not like a fire flame. I didn't know what to think I was only 10 at the time, but I remember I wasn't scared at all. But the four drunks, Got out of There quickly. When we got back home, my mother called the local news channel and reported what we saw. The next day the news stated that it was a Russian satellite entering the earth atmosphere. But there was not fighter plans flowing it, my father stated that if it was a russian satellite that the US would be all over it. It was later stated that it was seen in 7 states.Well that is my story, and I am glad to finally tell someone.
