UFO Sighting in New York, New York on June 30th 1960 – objects moved in a straight line and sideways as well, fast and come to an abrupt stop, I watched them several minutes and went to get my Father when I came back they were all gone,they were at a very high altitude. Could have been shooting each other

I was about 13 or 14 years of age when I witnessed this, I walked outdoors,to look at the sky it was evening between 9 and 11 pm. I noticed a group of bright stationary lights in the sky. In no particular pattern. Suddenly they started moving very rapidly, like streaks across the space between them, up down, sideways, stopping and starting so fast you could hardly see them go. When I first noticed them I guess I thought they were stars but quickly realized they weren't, at that time I am sure they were ufo's and still do. I could draw an example easier than I can describe they movement, as it was several objects, over 10 I believe, and very high. After several years of thought I think they were actually having a battle. That the spaces between them was distant perhaps. I was excited to see them and fetched my Father to look, when we came back they were gone, but he said to me that he had seen similar things himself over the years. I was mesmerized by what I saw, I feel it was a sign to me to know such things exist.
