UFO Sighting in New York, New York on July 10th 2015 – 5 large orange balls of light traveling across the sky, one “blinked” out or “faded”

I took my dog out in my backyard. She went down on the lawn to do her business, I remained on the deck. I saw the lights immediately. There were 4 or 5 of them, not sure because of the tree line. These orange orbs travelled at the same steady speed in formation. I couldn't tell if they were separate objects or lights on a larger object. The distance between them did not change. They were completely silent. I consciously tried to hear a "aircraft" noise but there was none. There were no blinking lights like on airplanes and the color was also not typical of red lights on a plane. They appeared huge to my eye. One light in the most western position "blinked out", meaning it was there and then it wasn't. The bright orange globes continued on a steady south easterly direcction until they disappeared behind the trees. I was too frightened to go to the front yard to follow their path to see where they went. I really tried to de-bunk what I was seeing while it was happening; consciously looking for ANYTHING that would indicate they were airplanes, but there wasn't anything about them that would fit. I also thought of the possibility of floating lanterns but their position to each other didn't change, they remained the same distance apart. They were all the same size and shape, all the same oolor of bright orange which didn't flicker, pulsate or flash, just a steady light. The dog took no notice, I was scared to death and shook and cried for a while once I went back inside the house.
