UFO Sighting in Owensboro, Kentucky on July 10th 2015 – reddish orange glow, cylindrical but vertically, no noise.

I was sitting outside on my porch. I saw at first a bright red light moving from the NE heading in my direction. At first it seemed like a light from a plane and I didn't think anything of it since my house is in the path of the airport. However, as it got closer it grew in size. The closer it got the more elongated it's shape became. It went from red to a orange/red glow. I stood up to listen for noise and watch it closer. I kept adjusting my glasses to make sure of what I was seeing. It moved SW quickly without sound. It went too fast to get a picture or a video of it on my phone. I was messaging a friend on FB and told her about it. I didn't believe my eyes at first. I still don't believe it. My friend referred me here to report. It moved so fast. I lost sight when I looked away for a moment.
