I was young so I don't know what year it was or my age but it was probably 1961-62 or so. I shared a bedroom with my younger sister and her bed/crib? was closer to the window than mine. It was a hot summer night and my dad had found this large air conditioner and installed it in our room and he was sleeping on the floor at the foot of our beds. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked out the window and saw a cigar shaped craft hovering. I felt like "they" were looking at me although I don't remember seeing windows or beings. It hovered there then moved forward toward the east. My dad and sister slept through it. I told my dad about it the next morning and he told me it was a dream. My dad was a mechanical engineer and worked for an aeronautics company. He had some level of top secret clearance from the government. He has several patents under his name. I just sent another report of an event that happened at Lake Waubesa south of Madison that happened a few years later. I don't recall any more events but we do have some paranormal activity in our current house. I woke up around 2:30 am as my husband left the room and I heard the door close. Against the white door I could see a small human figure (4-5 ft tall) appear in silhouette. The door was reflected in a standing mirror in front of the bed. I called my husband's name 3 times with no response and I sat up and turned the light on. It was gone. This occurred at my current address about 8-10 years ago.
