UFO Sighting in Burnsville, Minnesota on July 9th 2015 – Bright ball of light, thought was planet. Went back w/ star map, was GONE

I was outside smoking a cigarette on my back porch in Burnsville. I looked slightly to my left and saw what I thought to be a planet with how bright it was. Observed for a moment, then turned to step inside and ask my fiance to get a star map app. When we returned with one it was gone! I honestly thought it was a plabet, it only hovered and sat there. I really only noticed it due to the odd rosy gold color of the light so assumed it to be Venus when I first saw it.
