Several fascinating images have surfaced in a French magazine called Top Secret. When Investigator / Researcher Alex Mistretta learned of this he contacted TheBlackVault.com where the full story and images can be found.
Summary:
A United States submarine – the USS Trepang (SSN 674) – took these photos while between Iceland and Juan Mayen Island in the Atlantic Ocean in March of 1971. In command of the submarine was Admiral Dean Reynolds, who has yet to be contacted.
The sub came upon the objects by accident during a routine joint military / scientific expedition.
