On July 4th 2015 returning from a firework show in downtown, traveling east on the 10 fwy near East L.A. looking in a S-SE direction what appeared to be 3 lights (triangle) that at first appeared to be hovering, but as we headed east at about 30-40 mph, it did appear to be moving going to the west. It remained south of the 10 fwy. Since there were a lot of fireworks occurring, there was a lot of smoke in the air. We (my wife and I) could not see any surface only 3 lights that seemed to stay relatively equidistant from each other. Just playing devil's advocate, it could have been flares attached to balloons with some thin rigid material to keep a resemblance of a structure. But they didn't drop to the ground mainly hovered and glided heading west. My wife took a picture, but said nothing showed up.
