UFO Sighting in New York, New York on July 4th 2015 – during fireworks, a constant orange glowing sphere glided across the sky

I was in the backyard for the Fourth of July fireworks and we noticed an orange glowing orb. I am located on the south shore of Long Island and while facing the west, we noticed an object that seemed to consistently glow. I looked around and noticed some airplanes in the area being that we are located near an airport yet this object did not blink like the planes. it was moving in a slow pace headed. it began at 9pm and appeared in and out of site for the following 45 minutes. it faded out each time in the same location. my family and I are convinced we saw something out of the normal.
