At the time we were kids. I believe maybe around 1966, it was summer and like all kids we were out running around. There wer maybe 4 or 5 of us at the time. Standing outside of my house for some reason I looked up and pointed the disk out to my friends. It made no noise but was spinning and lights were circling on the bottom. The lights were patterned. Red, blue, and I,can't remember if there were any other colors. We were quite excited by this time. It stayed over us for maybe 30 seconds and then it zipped off. But we could still see it going like it might have been in distress. Of course never seeing anything like this we ran after it thinking it would come down where we could find it. As far as I know it didn't come down.
On one other occasion, it was dark just about dusk or a little darker. I saw triangle shaped ships standing still in my Grandmothers yard. There were 6 of them. They stood still like they were just hanging there no noise. I called my father and he saw them too. He told me never to mention it anyone. So I didn't. Now I am going on 65 and I think someone should know about this. I figure they were around because of the army base. I know it's late to tell anyone now but I thought it should be told. Please know there is something out there, I will never doubt it. The image will always be with me. For about 2 years I never felt that I was alone, but it wasn't a bad thing. I don't fully understand why I felt this way but I did.
