While observing neighborhood fireworks, the family noticed a consistent red light moving across the sky at a speed considerably faster than a jet aircraft at typical altitude for the area. Once it traversed the sky and we were looking at it from behind, headed west, the red light disappeared and we were able to make out a circular silhouette where the light, or slightly above where the light would have been. We knew it could not be any of the fireworks as it did not originate from the ground. There were no visible navigation or landing lights accompanying it. It came into view from above the horizon/tree line and continued at a consistent altitude from a SSE original position to a point West of our location.
