UFO Sighting in Kentucky on July 4th 2015 – During the time between 9:15 PM and 10:30PM (approx)we witnessed 16. Different orbs originating in the northern sky, fly in a fairly flat, lateral path well above the tree line . Path direction was north to north west.

After seeing three orbs last year during the evening 4th of July fireworks displayed I invited a friend over for viewing this year in case the orbs returned. They did return. The entire experience was the same as last year except there were 16 objects this year, last year only 3. (Last years experience is on file with MUFON) Flight path was from the north to the north west in a lateral path well above the tree line. (Roughly over I-71). (Same as last year.) Each orb flew in a direct line, not floating or wavering. It obviously was not fireworks. Neither was it Chinese lanterns. The flying objects were reddish-orange and bright. Difficult to tell how far off they were or what exact height . Entire duration of event was maybe an hour and 20 minutes with a single orb appearing in the sky then followed by the next maybe 4 or 5 minutes apart. Never more than three in the sky at any given time. Sometimes a lapse of 10 minutes or so between some sightings. Orbs looked to be flying under their own power rather than the winds. The event was witnessed from a third floor balcony under cloudy conditions. Mostly two witnesses for most of the event but once as many as 6 people witnessed.
