My son and I went to a church down the street that is positioned on a steep hill so we could watch fireworks. While we were watching them we started getting mosquito bites and while swatting them away we noticed a bright Orange ball moving in the sky behind us. As it got closer it began to blink out. We had seen three of thees a year before from our back yard. A bit later we saw another one and it did the same. It was like it was lowing it's lights the gone. Then a bit later we saw another on the same area but this time a plane (only know this because it made sound but had strange blinking White lights) was headed toward it and it blinked out. My son became very scared so we came home. While looking this up on my computer I saw another one and the plane again. On a side note, in an opposite direction we had seen a bright Red light high in the sky with flashing lights in the middle. It hovered for a while and the went straight down and then hovered again. Needless to say this was exciting for me but terrifying for my 12 year old son. We live 15 minutes from Wright Patt AFB if that means anything.
