UFO Sighting in Oswego, Illinois on July 3rd 2015 – red pulsing light traveled straight stopped, hovered traveled some more, then quickly disappeared like it was shrinking into itself.

I was standing on my deck looking at the night sky while letting my dog out. As I looked to the north a red glowing pulsing ball appeared. It traveled a few feet to the west hovered for a few seconds then moved west some more. It stopped again and hovered this time it seemed to disappear into itself. It just got smaller and smaller. It looked close enough that if it had been a helicopter or plane it would have made some kind of noise, but here was nothing. No multiple lights that you see on airplane wings or helicopter rudders. I kept thinking that as it's position in the sky changed different colors would be visible because sometimes planes lights look like one until the angle you see them makes it possible. The color never changed from pulsing red it just disappeared.
