It was just before dawn when she looked to her right and saw a shiny silver disk-like object in the northern sky headed in a westerly direction. She watched it travel at a steady pace and then change direction and ascend at a 45 degree angle. She remembered the date because it was on the same day as the November 9th 1968 5.5 magnitude earthquake centered in Illinois on the New Madrid fault line.
