UFO Sighting in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania on November 1st 1977 – City block sized craft, hovering, light beams, jet noise, extremely fast departure
A friend and I were driving on Rt 15 on a cloudy rainy night. We saw a low flying o Brecht the size of a city block flying slowly over the highway. We pulled over and got out to get a better view even though it was a busy freeway. The rectangular craft hovered but emitted a relatively quiet jet like sound. There were no rotor blades nor colored lights as required by FAA. As the craft slowly hovered nearby and almost over our heads, it shone beams of white light at the ground. I thought surely it had seen us and was expecting to be illuminated by the random light beams to the ground, but that never happened. Then the craft suddenly moved off at nearly instantaneous speed and disappeared into the clouds. My friend and I never discussed it as we got back in the car and proceeded on our way. There was no desire to tell anyone until now.
