UFO Sighting in Long Beach, California on October 12th 1946 – Bright lights sitting stationary in the sky not moving plane flew beneath objects

I was driving north on Alamitos Ave I had just passed Ocean when I saw a woman pointing toward the sky, I glanced and saw one light, I made a left hand turn on 1st street and parked on the right side of the street, where I looked toward the nw where I observed two lights sitting in the sky! I took out my binoculors and could clearly see the lights, shortly a plane flew underneath the lights, I checked my watch and it was about 8:30, i snapped a picture of the light which was still sitting there, I than left and continued home. I looked again and they were still there at 9:00P I do have the pictures of the light,the picture I have is of only the one which was the brightest.
