UFO Sighting in Nebraska on June 24th 2015 – Noticed round bright light which moved slightly, hovered, then disppeared, then reappeared in slightly diff location

I was playing Frisbee with my son, so looking up towards the sky, in a S, SW direction at the time, when I noticed a bright circular or round object in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane and the sun's reflection off it, since it was around 3 pm, and I was looking in a direction that is a common flight path over the central US, in NE. But then I noticed that it moved very little. It then moved behind some thin clouds and I lost sight of it. I then told my son to come over and try to see what I was seeing. I looked up again and it had reappeared and was in a new position, just South of its last position. I really noticed then that its brightness was significantly more than the reflection of a plane, well over a mile up, and the shape was more like an orb, circular than anything. It hovered very little in that position, then just disappeared from view. I at once felt very enthused that I had possibly seen something I always wanted to see. This is why I am reporting it, as the event was definitely an anomaly, not the usual view of a jet going overhead. It was also not a helicopter by the unusual flight path, if you call it that. The whole account lasted only 30 seconds I guess. My son didn't arrive at my position in time to see anything.
