UFO Sighting in Bremerton, Washington on August 10th 1960 – it looked like a star that could move in a straight line and turn at a 90 degree angle

I was stationed aboard USS Bon Homme Richard CVA31 at Bremerton, Wa August 1960. Ten or more of us sailors were on the fantail gazing at the stars. It was a christle clear night. All of us were shocked to see what we thought was a star move straight down for maybe two minutes. It then made a 90 degree turn to the left and went the same distance and time and stopped for maybe a minute. It then headed straight back to point "A" and then disappeared. All of us talked about what we saw for quite a while. I don't remember who went to the Quarterdeck to tell the Officer of the Deck what we all saw. Nor have I seen any of the other sailors who were there since then. It has been a long time. I have told this to quite a few people, but never thought to contact you professionals before I saw your TV show yesterday. I have always believed in life in outer space, just as I believe Visitors have been to our earth for centuries. I also believe all of the world governments have covered up their knowledge of Other World Visitors.
