UFO Sighting in San Jose, California on April 1st 2013 – from my 2nd story balcony i saw a black object, spherical but rough rear edges floating slowly, took my monocular scope out and by the time i put it to my eye the object was completely gone. seemed to move a little slower than a plane at that distance

Noticed a large black object moving slowly in the afternoon sky from my 2nd story balcony. It was a black roundish object but looked to have a rear section with rough edges. (Like a geometrical sphere) I went inside and grabbed my monocular scope and came back out. The object was 15-20 miles away. I looked at it still moving slowly, held the scope up to my eye and couldnt find it so i lowered the scope to get a better aim but the object was gone. Plenty of sky in all directions from my view point and no sign of it. I have also seen reports of black pnjects in sky during broad daylight.
