UFO Sighting in Modesto, California on June 20th 2001 – 6 people in two cars saw something. We also couldn’t reach car by cell.

6 close friends were heading home from a night of partying. I know, I know, but we were sober. There were also two cars. When something in the sky just appeared. Pretty high up there but very noticible. We call to car behind us but phone wouldn't work. We pull over to ask the people behind us if they saw it also. We couldn't get a word off as they were yelling the same to us. It was large and metallic. Large and in a thin "blimp", like shape. Fuzzy lights although it was a clear morning. No vapor trail at all. Came to a complete stop, held for a minute, then dissapeared suddenly. I am pretty sure no one saw it disappear. Strange since there were six people. It was clearly not a plane. In fact, you could see a plane in the sky with it. Hence the scale roughly given. We were all pretty amazed and couldn't believe the other car also saw the same event. Proving we were not imagining the event that unfolded that night.
